Everything journalists, winners and finalists need — boilerplate, fast facts and official badge kits.
The Charles Floate Annual SEO Awards (seoawards.org) are free-to-enter annual industry honors founded in 2026 by British SEO consultant Charles Floate, recognizing outstanding achievement, innovation and measurable results in search engine optimization. Uniquely among major search awards, entry is free and every shortlisted entry is verified against live ranking data before winners are decided by a panel of working practitioners. Winners across 12 categories are announced online each July. The program is independently funded with no entry fees or sponsors, and founder-affiliated wins are publicly disclosed and decided with the Head Judge recused.

Official badge kits (SVG + PNG, light/dark, winner and finalist variants) are issued to every winner and finalist with an embed snippet. Badges link to the relevant category page so anyone can verify the award. Winners may use the badge on their website, proposals, email signatures and profiles. Don’t redraw or recolor the badge — ask for what you need instead: press@seoawards.org.
